SILOS
The MAPA MBS series of silo is designed for intermediate storage of materials that do not have satisfactory flow, such as flakes of PE foil, fibers, mono and multiple threads, etc.
MAP MBS silos differ from conventional round silos due to the horizontal design and an integrated screw discharge conveyor mounted horizontally on the bottom of the device, as well as the horizontal mixing system inside the silo. Depending on the material specification in the silo and capacity, versions of the discharge system come with one or two augers, including their own drive and transmission.
Depending on specific requirements, different sizes and versions of machines are available.
Some important features are:
– horizontal design with a larger silo base, and a larger structure means a larger volume
– lower energy consumption, a mixer breakage for overloads is not necessary
– lower operating costs in terms of electricity and maintenance
